Danish second-division club AC Horsens are emerging as the frontrunners to secure the signing of Ghanaian winger Joseph Narbi.
Narbi, 17, played a crucial role for Ghana’s U17 national team, the Black Starlets, during the 2024 WAFU B U17 tournament held on home soil.
His performances helped Ghana finish fourth in the competition, attracting interest from European clubs.
Scouts from AC Horsens closely monitored the young winger throughout the tournament and were particularly impressed by his technical ability, pace, and goal-scoring instincts.
One of his standout moments came in the semi-final against Burkina Faso, where he scored a remarkable curling effort.
Despite his goal, Ghana suffered a 2-1 defeat, falling short of the final.
AC Horsens are expected to move for Narbi once he turns 18, with negotiations likely to take place with his current club, Kumasi-based Benab FC.
The Danish club has been actively scouting talent from Ghana in recent months.
In January, they secured the signing of Saani Ishak Mohammed from Accra Hearts of Oak.
Earlier in 2024, they also added Kwaku Karikari and midfielder Abdul Salam Moro to their squad.
Narbi’s potential arrival would further strengthen AC Horsens’ growing Ghanaian contingent as they continue to invest in young African prospects.
