In the first half, Al-Khums displayed an impressive performance, dominating proceedings significantly and translating their superiority into a remarkable goal scored by Mohamed Ayad in the 35th minute.
The dynamics shifted in the second half as Abu Salim, led by Tunisian coach Chokri Al-Khattawi, intensified their attacks, seeking to level the score and turn the tide of the match.
Abu Salim’s efforts persisted until the 76th minute when Peter Nawara successfully netted the equalizing goal.
Merely three minutes later, Abdelraouf Al-Shabli scored the lead for Abu Salim.
Abu Salim continued their offensive in the final minutes, aiming to secure a third goal, which materialized in the 90th minute through the dangerous Mohamed Al-Kosta, concluding the match with a 3-1 scoreline.
With this victory, Abu Salim now stands at 6 points, securing the ninth position after playing only three matches.
Meanwhile, Al-Khums remains at 7 points, holding the seventh position after participating in 8 matches thus far.
