Aboubakar Abdoulahakim reflects on signing with Shabab Al-Aqaba
Shabab Al-Aqaba has bolstered its squad with the signing of promising Togolese midfielder Aboubakar Abdoulahakim. The 22-year-old, joining from the Future Stars Agoè academy, is set to embark on his first professional experience abroad in the Jordanian Pro League. Having emerged from the Togolese second division after a standout season with CDF Haknour, which saw his team crowned champions, Abdoulahakim is now focused on continuing his development at Shabab Al-Aqaba.

“The goal is to stay consistent and redouble our efforts. It is mandatory to progress in order to bring the best to my club and deserve the trust they have placed in me,” he added.

“Naturally, after a successful season, we are always in the spotlight, even if at home, it is difficult to catch the eye of the clubs in the Top 5 of the European championships,” he explained.
“I am delighted with this opportunity on Jordanian soil. I firmly believe that I made the best choice among the opportunities that presented themselves to me.”
His move to Shabab Al-Aqaba follows the club’s earlier signing of Abdou Rafikou Atakora, as they continue to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
