Zamalek coach Mu’tamed Gamal has made the decision to exclude three players, including Abdullah Gomaa and the young duo, Karim Abdul Hakeem and Mostafa Shukri, from the upcoming external training camp in the United Arab Emirates.
According to reliable sources at FilGoal.com, Abdullah Gomaa, along with the youthful talents from the club’s youth squad, Karim Abdul Hakeem and Mostafa Shukri, find themselves omitted from Zamalek’s roster for the UAE training camp due to technical reasons.
Additionally, there are special circumstances related to Abdullah Gomaa’s military service commitments.
Zamalek is gearing up for participation in the friendly tournament hosted by Al-Wahda Club in Abu Dhabi, scheduled to take place from January 18 to January 24.
The competition will see Zamalek face the UAE’s Al-Wahda, Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ittihad, and Qatar’s Umm Salal.
Following the friendly tournament, Zamalek is set to participate in the Dubai Challenge Cup from January 26 to January 28.
The tournament features the participation of clubs such as Morocco’s Raja Casablanca, Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahli, and China’s Wuhan Three Towns.
The matches will unfold at the Al Maktoum Stadium.
