Zamalek’s experienced playmaker, Abdullah Al-Saeed, found the net for the first time in nearly a month, delivering two crucial goals in a 3-0 victory over Enppi in the Egyptian Premier League’s 17th round on Tuesday.
Al-Saeed had been waiting for a breakthrough since his last goal on January 27, when he scored in Zamalek’s 4-1 win over El Gouna in the 10th round. His return to scoring form came in emphatic fashion against the petroleum club.
Starting on the bench, the veteran midfielder entered the match at halftime, replacing Hossam Abdel Majid to provide an attacking boost. Just three minutes later, he calmly converted a penalty to put Zamalek ahead. In stoppage time (90+4), he sealed the win with his second of the night, following Nasser Mansi’s goal in the 66th minute.
With this brace, Al-Saeed now has 10 goals in 46 appearances across all competitions since joining Zamalek in February 2024. His clinical display reaffirmed his value to the White Knights as they push forward in the league campaign.
