Moroccan international Abderrazak Hamdallah guided his team, Al-Ittihad Jeddah, to achieve a thrilling comeback against Al-Wahda with a score of 2-1 on Monday, in the twenty-first round of the Saudi league.
Al-Ittihad Jeddah trailed in the match since the 35th minute when Nigerian player Ighalo scored the lead goal for Al-Wahda. Additionally, Karim Benzema missed a penalty in the 45+11 minute.
In the 84th minute of the encounter, Hamdallah managed to score the equalizer for his team through a penalty kick. Then, in the 94th minute, Hamdallah struck again, netting the winning goal against his compatriot Munir Al-Mohammadi.
With this brace, Hamdallah raised his tally to 15 goals, placing him third in the Saudi league’s top scorers’ chart this season.
