Moroccan international Abderrazak Hamdallah played a pivotal role in securing Al-Ittihad Jeddah’s place in the semifinals of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup on Sunday, dominating Faisaly with a 4-1 victory.
Hamdallah, displaying his scoring prowess, netted the opening goal for Al-Ittihad in the injury time of the first half, converting a penalty kick.
The remaining goals for Al-Ittihad came from Frenchman Ngolo Kanté in the 54th minute and Egyptian defender Ahmed Hegazi, who scored twice – first in the 68th minute and then in the 80th minute.
With this impressive win, Al-Ittihad Jeddah joins the ranks of qualified teams for the pre-final stage, alongside Al-Khaleej, Al-Hilal, and Al-Nassr.
