Moghreb Athletic Tetouan’s sports company administration announced on Sunday the signing of national coach Abdellatif Jrindou to lead the team.
In a press release, the club highlighted that the contract with Abdellatif Jrindou extends “for a season and a half with outlined objectives,” noting that the official presentation of the new coach to the team’s fans, followers, and the public will take place in the coming hours.
The sports company administration of Moghreb Athletic Tetouan opted for Abdellatif Jrindou after parting ways with coach Mohamed Al-Ismaili Al-Alawi earlier this week due to “poor results.”
This marks Abdellatif Jrindou’s second stint with Moghreb Tetouan, having first joined the team in 2021, during which he successfully guided them back to the top tier during the 2021-2022 season.
Born in 1974, Abdellatif Jrindou previously played for Olympique de Safi, Raja Casablanca, and Ahli Dubai in the UAE.
He has also coached various national teams, including Olympique Dcheira, Chabab Al Massira, and Maghreb Fez.
Moghreb Tetouan currently occupies the ninth position in the Professional Football League Division 1 with 20 points from 17 matches.
Jrindou’s appointment comes as the club aims to revitalize its performance and achieve its objectives for the remainder of the season.
With his experience and track record, Moghreb Tetouan looks forward to a positive impact under his leadership.
