Former Egyptian football star, Reda Abdel Aal, affirmed that the Portuguese coach Rui Vitoria, the head coach of the national team, bears the responsibility for Egypt’s exit from the African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast after the defeat against the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Abdel Aal stated in a television statement, “From my perspective, the Portuguese Rui Vitoria, the head coach of the national team, has squandered the easiest African Cup of Nations in history for the Pharaohs.”
He added, “The departure of the Portuguese Rui Vitoria, the head coach of the national team, should happen as soon as possible, and the issue of the penalty clause should be resolved.”
