Abdallah Shika: Egyptian striker joins Samanoud on free transfer from El Nasr
Egyptian centre-forward Abdallah Shika has joined Samanoud on a free transfer from El Nasr, signing a deal with the club until 30 June 2028.
The 32-year-old moves after a year with El Nasr, whom he also joined as a free agent from Mansoura in July 2025. His switch keeps him in Egyptian football and gives Samanoud an experienced option through the middle of their attack.
Standing at 1.87m and predominantly right-footed, Shika arrives as a traditional central striker, offering a physical presence at the top end of the pitch. He has been used primarily as a centre-forward throughout his career and will be expected to operate in the same role at his new club.
Shikas career has seen him build a steady profile in domestic competitions, including an appearance in the Egypt Cup, where he featured for 68 minutes in a single outing. Before his time at El Nasr and Mansoura, the forward also spent a spell with El Hammam, providing a platform for his subsequent moves.
The move to Samanoud marks the latest step in a career built across several Egyptian sides, and his contract running to 2028 underlines the clubs commitment to him as a longer-term attacking option.
