Tunisia has learned the identity of its opponents in the qualifiers for the African Cup of Nations, Morocco 2015. The Eagles of Carthage will face Egypt, Senegal, and another opponent yet to be determined on their journey to Morocco.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday to discuss the draw, coach Georges Leekens emphasized the importance of starting the qualifiers strongly.
“The first match is our priority. Although we don’t know our opponent yet, it will set the tone for our campaign. While the final match against Egypt may be crucial, we must focus on the present,” said Leekens.
Acknowledging the significance of the Tunisia-Egypt clash, Leekens highlighted the challenge posed by Senegal. “The match against Egypt will be intense, but we cannot overlook Senegal. They are a formidable team, especially when playing away. Our qualification will depend on accumulating points against Senegal and our final opponent.”
