Brahimi and Boulaya miss opportunity to secure Qatari League lead in thrilling draw

Algerian internationals Yacine Brahimi and Farid Boulaya led their team, Al-Gharafa, to an exhilarating draw against their rivals, Umm Salal, with one goal each.
The match witnessed an impressive performance from Farid Boulaya, who provided a crucial assist to his teammate, Ferjani Sassi, converting it into a beautiful goal, the only one in the match for Al-Gharafa.
Brahimi and Boulaya’s team effort, while commendable, fell short of securing the top spot in the league standings, leaving them in the position of runners-up.
The three points from the match would have elevated them to the league leaders, joining Al-Sadd, with just three rounds remaining before the conclusion of the season.
