Algeria, housed in Group H with Russia, South Korea, and Belgium, is carefully monitoring the program of its upcoming opponents in the first round of the World Cup in Brazil.
The Algerian leadership is aware of the schedule set for the Russian team by their coach, Fabio Capello.
Russia’s preparations will commence on Wednesday, May 21, with training sessions in Moscow. They will then travel to Kazan to face Slovakia in a friendly match on Monday, May 26.
The following day, May 27, the team will return to Moscow for daily training sessions at the Eduard Streltsov stadium, lasting for three days.
On Friday, May 30, Russia will depart for Oslo to play against Norway on Saturday, May 31. Afterward, they will resume training in Moscow before their final friendly match against Morocco on Friday, June 6.
The Russian squad will depart for Brazil on Sunday, June 8, where they will establish their base camp in the town of Itu near Sao Paulo.
During the World Cup in Brazil, Russia will play their first match on June 17 against South Korea in Cuiabà. They will then face Algeria on June 22 in Porto Alegre and Belgium on June 26 in Sao Paulo.
