It has been reported by La Feuille publique that the French tax authorities have initiated an investigation into PSG assistant coach Claude Makelele. The focus of this investigation is on Makelele’s investments in Servette de Genève, a Swiss club, in 2004, which were facilitated by his former agent Marc Roger.
The investigation is believed to be aimed at examining potential tax evasion or addressing issues related to double taxation between France and Switzerland.
Makelele has been given a deadline of ten days to provide a Swiss address or designate a representative. Further developments in this matter are awaited.
