It’s now official: Ibrahima Traoré has signed for Borussia Mönchengladbach, confirming the news announced last week. The Guinean left midfielder, formerly of VfB Stuttgart, has opted to remain in the Bundesliga despite interest from various clubs across Europe.
Traoré, who was named the best Guinean footballer of the year, was nearing the end of his contract with Stuttgart, which expires in June. He has now signed a deal with Borussia Mönchengladbach until 2018. The club made the announcement on their social media platforms on Monday.
So far this season, Traoré, aged 25, has appeared in 27 matches and scored 2 goals.
