According to reports in the Italian press, Mehdi Benatia’s agent, Moussa Sissoko, is planning to meet with AS Roma’s management soon to discuss the player’s future. It is understood that AS Roma are aware of the interest from other clubs and may need to offer Benatia a significant salary increase to persuade him to stay.
Sissoko emphasized that Benatia is currently content at AS Roma, but the decision ultimately rests with the player himself.
