Thierry Henry, the New York Red Bulls striker, has plans for his career after retirement. While he hasn’t hung up his cleats yet, he’s already considering a change of career, potentially as a film actor.
According to France Football, the former French striker will appear in Doug Ellin’s upcoming film titled “Entourage,” set to be released in 2015.
Henry will join actors Adrian Grenier and Jeremy Piven in the cast, although his specific role in the film has not been disclosed yet.
“Entourage” is based on the television series of the same name that premiered on HBO in 2004. Directed, produced, and starring American Doug Ellin, the series follows the life of a young actor striving to make it in Hollywood.
