PSG’s interest in Paul Pogba has been evident for several months, with Nasser Al-Khelaïfi showing determination to secure the U20 world champion and French international from Juventus.
To achieve this objective, PSG may consider offering their Uruguayan center forward, Edinson Cavani, in exchange. Cavani, who expressed his thoughts in an interview with L’Equipe, could contemplate leaving PSG during the next off-season if not given a central role alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic by Laurent Blanc. Tuttosport reports that Juventus may be interested in acquiring “El Matador.”
Although Pogba is under contract until June 30, 2016, and only 21 years old, his market value exceeds that of the 27-year-old Cavani, despite the latter being contracted to PSG until 2018. Juventus might be open to negotiations if PSG includes a transfer fee along with Cavani in the deal.
However, one crucial detail to consider is Pogba’s preference for Real Madrid.
