Standard Liège will be without the services of William Vainqueur for their upcoming match against Beveren on Sunday. The French midfielder, of Haitian descent, sustained a muscle injury in his hamstrings during the previous weekend’s game and has been ruled out for the upcoming fixture.
Vainqueur underwent medical examinations on Monday, which revealed the extent of his injury. Although it is a minor injury, he will not be fit to participate in the upcoming match. However, it is expected that he will recover in time for the Playoffs.
In addition to Vainqueur, Mujangi Bia, who also suffered a hamstring injury, will be unavailable for the match against Beveren. Furthermore, Imoh Ezekiel will miss the game due to suspension.
