It wasn’t until the 17th minute that Berkane broke the deadlock, with Youssef El Fahli converting a penalty.
Maghreb de Fès’ Mouhcine Bouriga equalized in the 57th minute, briefly seizing the top scorer position in the league with nine goals.
However, Paul Bassene, Berkane’s professional player, shattered Maghreb de Fès’ hopes with the winning goal in the 66th minute.
This victory marks Berkane’s second consecutive win, propelling them to third place with 40 points, a position they have become accustomed to since their ascent, granting them participation in the Confederation Cup.
Meanwhile, Maghreb de Fès suffered their second consecutive defeat, freezing their tally at 29 points in 10th place.
