Elias Bn El-Saghir, the Monaco player, has made a commitment to Moroccan fans after choosing to represent the Atlas Lions over France.
El-Saghir joined the Moroccan national team camp in March for the first time, gearing up for friendly matches against Angola and Mauritania.
Speaking to the Moroccan Football Federation website, El-Saghir stated: “I promise to fight fiercely to secure a starting spot in Morocco’s lineup.”
He added, “It’s the moment I’ve been waiting for and dreaming of. Many thanks to the coach and the football federation for facilitating my qualification and attendance here.”
“I felt that joining Morocco was an ideal decision because the atmosphere is fantastic and exceptional.
The infrastructure is world-class, which motivates me to excel,” he continued.
“The coach asked me to stay calm and focused, and I promised him to fight like never before,” El-Saghir elaborated.
He concluded his statement by saying, “Playing for this team and this crowd matters to me.
I must reward everyone who has placed their trust in me.”
