According to reports from the Daily Express, Chelsea is eyeing Sami Khedira for the upcoming summer transfer window. The German international, currently playing for Real Madrid and under contract until June 2015, is reportedly a priority target for Jose Mourinho, Chelsea’s manager, who aims to bolster his midfield despite the recent arrival of Nemanja Matic.
However, Chelsea’s pursuit of Khedira may face challenges as Real Madrid is reluctant to let go of the midfielder. Real Madrid has already presented Khedira with a contract extension offer for three additional seasons, indicating their desire to retain him. Additionally, Khedira has been linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund.
