Fulham remains optimistic about securing Tosin Adarabioyo to a new contract, despite reported interest from Premier League giants Tottenham and Liverpool.
The defender’s current contract with Fulham is approaching its expiration, sparking speculation about his future.
However, sources suggest that Fulham is determined to persuade Adarabioyo to commit his long-term future to the club, with negotiations expected to involve a substantial increase in his salary.
Fulham’s head coach, Marco Silva, recently highlighted Adarabioyo’s pivotal role within the team, praising his contributions to their success.
“In December, when it was really busy, he helped the team to reach a really good level.
He is a really important player for us inside the football club,” Silva remarked, underlining Adarabioyo’s significance to Fulham’s defensive setup.
Recognizing Adarabioyo’s potential, Silva expressed optimism about the defender’s development, emphasizing his aspirations for further improvement.
“He is growing. He is a really good player, and of course we always expect better things from him,” Silva added, reflecting the club’s high expectations for the talented defender.
Amidst speculation linking Adarabioyo with a potential call-up to the national team, Silva expressed his support for the player’s ambitions, affirming, “If he is going to be the case to go for the national team (then) even better, because it’s always the ambition of a football player.”
As Fulham strives to secure Adarabioyo’s future amidst heightened interest from rival clubs, negotiations are expected to intensify in the coming weeks.
With both parties keen to reach a mutually beneficial agreement, Fulham fans eagerly await news of Adarabioyo’s contract renewal, hopeful for a positive resolution that will see the defender continue his promising career at Craven Cottage.
