Adidas introduced the official ball for the 2014 Champions League final on Tuesday, coinciding with the competition’s round of 16 stage set to commence next week.
The special ball features a design in white adorned with blue and orange stars, symbolizing the blue hues of the sea and sky of Lisbon, the host city for this year’s final, as well as the vibrant orange of the city’s rooftops.
To promote the new ball, Adidas enlisted the help of several football stars including Frank Lampard, Lucas Podolski, Bastian Schweinsteiger, and Nani.
