Al-Jazira and Ittihad Kalba battled to a 2-2 draw, marking the 15th matchday of the UAE League in the United Arab Emirates. The match, held at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, showcased the resilience of both teams, with Africans Neeskens Kebano and Aboubakar Kamara emerging as the heroes for Al-Jazira.

Despite a goalless first half, the intensity picked up in the second period, with Ittihad Kalba taking the lead early on. However, Al-Jazira found themselves trailing twice within the hour mark, putting them on the back foot.

Nevertheless, Al-Jazira showed their fighting spirit, with Neeskens Kebano stepping up to the plate and reducing the deficit with a well-taken goal in the 64th minute.

The Congolese midfielder’s timely strike injected renewed energy into the team, setting the stage for a dramatic comeback.

With the match hanging in the balance, it was Mauritanian sensation Aboubakar Kamara who rose to the occasion, delivering the crucial equalizer to salvage a point for Al-Jazira.

Kamara’s goal, coming shortly after Kebano’s effort, epitomized the team’s determination to avoid defeat and secure a positive result on home soil.

Following the hard-fought draw, Al-Jazira now sits in 7th place with 21 points, while Ittihad Kalba occupies the 11th spot with 14 points.

Despite the disappointment of not securing a win, both teams displayed commendable performances, showcasing the competitive nature of the UAE League.

As the season progresses, Al-Jazira will look to build on this result and continue their quest for success in the league.

With the likes of Kebano and Kamara leading the charge, the team remains optimistic about their prospects in the remaining fixtures.
