Abandoned for a while, the Ishak Belfodil transfer saga has been revived. New discussions have commenced between Queens Park Rangers and Inter Milan.
The transfer process was halted due to issues with the purchase option. However, it seems that the three parties have now reached an agreement on a 6-month loan deal with a purchase option set at 7 million euros.
Ishak Belfodil has already left Inter’s training center for London to undergo the customary medical examination.
The Algerian international’s transfer was initially stalled because Inter wanted to offload Mauro Icardi to Monaco to compensate for the absence of Radamel Falcao, who was injured and unavailable for five months.
This potential transfer could provide Belfodil with more playing time, potentially boosting his chances of being included in Vahid Halilhodzic’s squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
