The exciting journey ahead for the eight remaining teams in the 2023-24 CAF Champions League was unveiled on Tuesday at the draw held in Cairo, Egypt.
Determined to make their mark, Simba SC, ASEC Mimosas, TP Mazembe, and Young Africans are preparing to face off against some tough competition.
First up, Tanzanian giants Simba will take on the record holders, Al Ahly SC, who have a strong history in the competition.
Al Ahly are the defending champions and also the record-winners of the competition with 11 titles.
Looking to end their continental drought, ASEC will go up against four-time champions Esperance Sportive de Tunis.
In another exciting match-up, TP Mazembe will battle Angola’s Petro Atletico, who have seen success in recent years.
In the final quarter-final fixture, Young Africans, who came close to victory last season in the CAF Confederation Cup, will face off against South Africa’s finest Mamelodi Sundowns, who are eager to replicate their 2016 triumph.
