Hamdi Al-Abyadi, the striker for Tunisian football club Espérance Sportive de Tunis, took to Instagram late last night to express his discontent with his situation within the team, following the decision to exclude him from the match against Union Sportive Monastirienne (USM).
In a story shared on his official Instagram account, Al-Abyadi criticized his position within the team after being penalized with exclusion from the USM match.
He stated, “I’m ashamed to say it, but my beloved team, the one I’ve always supported and never turned my back on, is disappointing me without reason. I’ve never experienced anything like this before.”
Following the conclusion of the match against USM, coach Mondher Al-Kabir declined to comment on Al-Abyadi’s situation, considering the disciplinary action an internal matter that required his intervention.
The penalty imposed on Hamdi Al-Abyadi came directly after a verbal altercation between the player and supporters of Club Africain during the match against Club Sportif Sfaxien (CSS).
