Sources within the management of Fath Union Sport expressed reservations regarding the Professional Football League’s decision to qualify their former Ivorian player, Hervey Gaye, to play for his new team, Raja Casablanca.
In remarks to “Hesport,” the sources questioned the National Professional Football League’s stubbornness in qualifying Hervey Gaye earlier, given that the player was indeed in a legally sound position.
They added, “Currently, we await the International Federation’s response to our inquiries regarding the ruling issued by the Dispute Committee, and we will continue to defend our position before the Court of Arbitration for Sport.”
Fath Union Rabat believes that FIFA’s ruling did not consider the club’s financial submissions in the case, as they were not sent within the specified deadlines due to a technical error by the club’s management.
Including these submissions in the file concerning “TAS” would favor the “FUS.”
The FIFA Dispute Resolution Committee had ruled in favor of Hervey Gaye on financial matters while rejecting the player’s other demands.
It’s a detail that “Hesport” learned that Fath Union Sport’s management had inquired about from FIFA through an official letter sent by the club days ago to obtain precise information regarding the player’s rejected requests.
This was to be used in the file to be submitted to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
