Officials from Libya’s Ahly Tripoli have extended an invitation to their counterparts at Egypt’s Ismaily Football Club to participate in a friendly match during the upcoming international break.
A source from Ismaily’s board of directors confirmed to Kira Plus that Ahly Tripoli had indeed invited them to engage in a friendly encounter between the two teams in Libya, an invitation that was promptly accepted.
The source further emphasized that Ismaily would first face the Arab Contractors in the league before heading to Libya on March 16th.
The team is scheduled to return on the 19th of the same month.
As Ismaily prepares to face the Arab Contractors in the Nile League’s seventeenth round, the prospect of this friendly match against Ahly Tripoli adds an international dimension to their season’s activities.
