Borussia Dortmund’s head coach, Edin Terzić, addressed the media today, shedding light on the current status of striker Sébastien Haller, who has been sidelined since the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Sébastien Haller, the prolific Ivorian forward, is yet to make a return to action with Borussia Dortmund following an injury sustained during his international duty at AFCON2023.
The absence of the sharpshooter will persist as Borussia Dortmund takes on Werder Bremen in the league next weekend.
Coach Edin Terzić, in a press conference held on Thursday, shared insights into Sébastien Haller’s recovery process.
“Seb Haller will still be absent. But he is progressing well (…),” Terzić revealed, providing a glimpse into the positive developments in Haller’s rehabilitation.
Recalling the achievements of the 2023 African champion, it is noteworthy that Haller has featured in 11 league games for Borussia Dortmund this season, accumulating a total of 354 minutes on the field. However, the recent injury setback has curtailed his on-field contributions.
As Borussia Dortmund prepares for the upcoming fixture, football enthusiasts eagerly await the return of Sébastien Haller, anticipating the impactful presence of the skilled striker once he fully recuperates from his injury.
