Hakim Ziyech, the Moroccan international and player for Galatasaray Football Club in Turkey, has completed his recovery phase from the injury he sustained while playing for the Moroccan national team during the Africa Cup of Nations held in Ivory Coast earlier this year.
According to the Turkish outlet “Al-Masaa,” the Galatasaray management granted Ziyech two days to travel to the Netherlands, with the condition that he returns on Wednesday to resume training with the team.
The same source indicated that the team’s coach, Okan Buruk, plans to include Ziyech in the squad for the upcoming match against Rizespor, scheduled for next Friday.
He will be given a few minutes on the field gradually to facilitate his return before being relied upon as a key player later on.
Ziyech had been absent from his club, Galatasaray, for over 7 weeks due to the injury he sustained during a match against Zambia in the third round of the Africa Cup of Nations group stage.
