Al Ahly Football Club has clarified the reality of receiving an official offer from French club Nantes to acquire the services of Mohamed Abdel-Moneim during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Reports from French media outlets had indicated Nantes’ interest in securing the signature of the Al Ahly defender and Egyptian national team player during the forthcoming summer transfer window.
However, a source within Al Ahly, speaking to “Al Masry Al Youm,” dismissed these reports, stating, “Al Ahly has not received any official offers to purchase Mohamed Abdel-Moneim during the recent period.”
The source further explained, “Nantes’ interest in Abdel-Moneim has been ongoing for some time, particularly during the winter transfer window.
However, no official offers have been received from the French club to sign the player as of yet.”
