The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) has condemned the recent surge in violence witnessed in Algerian stadiums.

The statement, attributed to FAF President Walid Sadi, expressed profound dismay at the escalating violence in stadiums and voiced the federation’s strong disapproval of this phenomenon.

“It is with great regret that the Algerian Football Federation notes the increasing violence in stadiums and expresses its dismay towards this phenomenon,” stated President Walid Sadi in the release.

Sadi went on to emphasize, “Such behavior is utterly unacceptable, and the Federation will not tolerate these actions, which it strongly condemns.”

Furthermore, he stated, “The Algerian Football Federation refuses to stand idly by in the face of these shocking and appalling scenes witnessed in some stadiums.”

The statement concluded with a call to action: “The Algerian Football Federation calls on all relevant parties, especially the sports media, to lend their assistance in contributing to the promotion of noble sporting values.”
