Today, on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024, Tunisia’s Esperance team finalized the list of qualified clubs for the quarterfinals of the current 2023-2024 African Champions League season.
Securing a valuable victory against Sudan’s Al Hilal with a one-nil score, Tunisia’s Esperance clinched their spot in the quarterfinals of the African Champions League competition.
The clubs that have qualified for the quarterfinals of the African Champions League include Sundowns from South Africa and Mazembe from Congo in Group A.
Meanwhile, ASEC Mimosas from Ivory Coast and Simba from Tanzania secured their places from Group B.
From Group C, Petro Atletico from Angola and Tunisia’s Esperance both advanced to the quarterfinals.
Additionally, Al Ahly and Young Africans from Tanzania confirmed their spots as the top two from Group D.
The draw for the quarterfinals will determine the teams’ paths up to the final match of the tournament, as well as which team will host the first and second-leg matches in the final.
It’s worth noting that the draw is not open, with the condition that teams from the same group do not face each other in the quarterfinals.
