Vålerenga secures Nigerian sensation Obasi Onyebuchi in landmark signing

Vålerenga Fotball has officially welcomed Nigerian right winger, Obasi Onyebuchi, into their ranks. Onyebuchi, hailing from Beyond Limits in Nigeria, marks a promising addition to Vålerenga’s roster.

At the age of 18, Onyebuchi embarks on an exciting European adventure, departing from his native Nigeria to join the ranks of Vålerenga.

The talented winger solidified his commitment to the club by signing a substantial 5-year contract, binding him to Vålerenga until December 31, 2028.

The transfer deal, valued at 400,000 euros, underscores the club’s confidence in the young player’s potential.

They’re pretty similar in terms of player type, but Obasi is probably a bit more advanced than Chiddi was at the same age.” He acknowledged Onyebuchi’s exceptional talent while emphasizing the need for realistic expectations regarding the player’s immediate impact.
