Media personality Karim Hassan Shihata has unveiled significant revelations regarding Mahmoud “Kahraba” Kahraba’s future with Al Ahly in the coming period.
Kahraba was notably absent from Al Ahly’s roster in recent matches against Medeama SC in the CAF Champions League and Baladiyat Al-Mahalla in the Egyptian Premier League, a decision attributed to technical reasons by the team’s manager, Marcel Koller.
Speaking on his program “Kora Kol Youm” aired on Al Hayat channel, Karim Shihata disclosed, “Kahraba attended the match between Al Ahly and Baladiyat Al-Mahalla to demonstrate that there are no issues between him and Koller and that his exclusion is purely based on tactical considerations.”
Furthermore, Shihata added, “I have insider information suggesting that Kahraba is exploring a Gulf offer to depart from Al Ahly in the near future.”
Shedding light on the club’s stance, Shihata mentioned that Al Ahly would not oppose Kahraba’s departure if a suitable offer arises, especially considering the player’s impending financial obligation to Zamalek in the coming period.
