According to exclusive sources close to Wydad Athletic Club, the Algerian El-Yass Al-Shetti and the Libyan Hamdou Al-Houni, both professional players with the team, are ready to play and appear in the match next Saturday against Ivorian side ASEC Mimosas in the sixth and final round of the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
The duo missed the match against Jwaneng Galaxy in Botswana due to not fully recovering from their injuries.
Al-Shetti and Al-Houni, who have recently been training individually, will join the team’s camp in preparation for this match, which will be played at the Grand Stadium of Marrakech due to the closure of the Mohammed V Stadium for renovations.
Wydad needs a victory against ASEC Mimosas and must await a draw between Simba and Jwaneng Galaxy to secure their spot in the next round.
