Heitham Arabi, the sports director of Modern Future Club, confirmed the relocation of their upcoming match against Al-Hilal Libya, scheduled for next Sunday in the sixth and final round of Group A in the African Confederation Cup, to Cairo’s Al-Salam Stadium.
Arabi stated in exclusive comments to “Kooora”: “The match will be held at Al-Salam Stadium in Cairo upon the request of the security authorities next Sunday, and on the same day, Zamalek will play against Sewe Sports at Cairo Stadium in the same tournament.”
Cairo Stadium hosts matches for both Zamalek and Modern Future Club this season, whether in the league or the African Confederation Cup.
Arabi pointed out that his team will play against Smouha the day after tomorrow, clarifying that the match has not been postponed, although his club had previously requested postponement of their league matches due to their continental commitments, but their requests were rejected.
The Future Club delegation returned from South Africa yesterday evening, after drawing with SuperSport United 1-1 in the penultimate round.
Modern Future Club occupies second place with 8 points, while Al-Hilal has 6 points before the final round match.
