Mohamed Abu Al-Wafa, a member of the board of the Egyptian Football Federation, has disclosed that the federation is currently facing a severe financial crisis.
Speaking on the “Malaeb Al-Shams” program with Magdy Abdel Ghany, Abu Al-Wafa stated, “Unfortunately, the Football Federation has been experiencing a severe financial crisis recently, and we are still suffering from it, unfortunately.”
He added, “The final match of the Egyptian Cup between Al Ahly and Zamalek has been extremely beneficial for the Football Federation due to the financial gains we will obtain. We will be playing with money.”
Abu Al-Wafa continued, “In the upcoming period, we will strongly support Hossam Hassan, the coach of the Egyptian national team, in all his decisions.”
