Renowned sports commentator Medhat Shalaby has disclosed the first absence from the first football team of Zamalek Club in the match against Al Ahly in the Egypt Cup final.
Al Ahly will face Zamalek on March 8th at Al Oul Park in Saudi Arabia in the final of the 2022-2023 Egypt Cup tournament.
Medhat Shalaby stated in television remarks on the Egyptian channel “MBC Masr”: “Senegalese winger Ibrahim Ndai, a key player for Zamalek, is suffering from a hamstring injury sustained during the match against Ismaily in the league.”
He further added: “Ndai will not be able to participate in Zamalek’s match against Al-Dakhleya in the Egyptian Premier League, and it is highly unlikely that he will recover in time for the match against Al Ahly in the Egypt Cup final.”
Zamalek will confront Al-Dakhleya next Thursday as part of the fourteenth-round matches of the Egyptian Premier League.
