Four clubs (Maghagha – Beni Suef Telephones – Beni Mazar – Alwasity) at the bottom of Group Two (2), in Upper Egypt, in the Second Division Football League, have announced their preparations for the matches of the fifteenth week in the competition, which will be held next Friday, March 1st.
with four matches, following a mandatory break last Friday, February 23rd, according to the competition schedule, which allocated the week for the postponed matches from the previous rounds that could not take place.
The four teams took advantage of the break period by intensifying training sessions and fielding new players from the youth sectors. They also organized a friendly match in an attempt to avoid relegation to the third division.
The fifteenth week matches will resume next Friday, March 1st, with four matches: Fayoum Governorate vs. Tamya Youth Center, Alwasity vs. Najm Egypt, Beni Suef Telephones vs. Tersana, and Maghagha Youth Center vs. Minya Club, while Beni Mazar Club will have a mandatory break according to the competition schedule.
The clubs’ standings after the completion of the fourteenth-week matches are as follows: Tersana Club tops the group with 33 points, securing promotion to the professional league and the promotion playoff to the Premier League.
Fayoum comes in second with 23 points, followed by Minya with 19 points, Najm Egypt with 18 points, Tamya Fayoum with 15 points, Alwasity with 12 points, Beni Mazar with 10 points, Beni Suef Telephones with 10 points, and Maghagha Youth Center with 9 points.
