Hamada Abdel-Latif, former Zamalek and Egypt national team star, has stated that the real evaluation of the new head coach of the White Knights, Jose Gomes, will be in the Egypt Cup final against Al Ahly.
Speaking on the program “In the Stadium While Driving” with the presenter Ibrahim Fayek, Hamada Abdel-Latif remarked, “The true assessment of Jose Gomes against Al Ahly, he is a promising coach, but his evaluation remains in big and challenging matches like the Al Ahly game.”
He further added, “Yesterday’s victory in the Confederation Cup against Abu Salim of Libya was a good thing, and I was impressed by Omar Gaber and Montoya… Gomes handled the match well, and the team needs to continue winning to clinch the African championship.”
