The medical staff of Zamalek SC is racing against time to expedite the recovery of injured players and those absent from official matches due to the tight schedule between league and Confederation Cup games.
Ziad Kamal, the recent addition to Zamalek during the latest winter transfer window, is diligently undergoing his rehabilitation program to swiftly return to action for his team.
Kamal suffered an injury during Zamalek’s training sessions, resulting in his exclusion from the matches against Ismaily in the league and Abuseliam in the Confederation Cup.
The medical team is striving to expedite his recovery.
It is expected that Ziad Kamal will be ready to participate in group training sessions within the next few hours upon Zamalek’s return from Algeria.
Manager Jose Gomez aims to prepare the player tactically and have him feature in part of Zamalek’s match against Al Dakhleya in the Egyptian Premier League scheduled for next Thursday.
This would ensure his readiness for the upcoming Egypt Cup final against Al Ahly.
Zamalek recently secured the services of Ziad Tarek from the club ENPPI on a two-and-a-half-year loan deal.
Ziad Kamal plays as a defensive midfielder.
Today, Sunday, Zamalek faces Abuseliam SC in the group stage of the Confederation Cup at 6:00 PM Cairo time, 7:00 PM Mecca time, and 8:00 PM UAE time.
