The Algerian Football Federation has selected the base camp for the Algerian national football team ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The chosen location is in the Sao Paulo region. Additionally, the team’s coach, Vahid Halilhodzic, has requested three friendly matches before the World Cup to prepare for the diverse styles of their group opponents—Belgium, Croatia, and South Korea. The friendly matches are expected to be against teams from Europe, Asia, and South America.
