Mondher El Kabir, coach of Tunisian club Club Africain, has delivered a resolute message to his players ahead of their encounter with Ghanaian side Dreams FC in the fifth round of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
Addressing the media during the pre-match press conference, El Kabir stated, “Discipline has been reinstated within the team.
We are in a period where there is no room for personal agendas or selfishness from any individual.”
He continued, “I will strongly oppose any attempt to deviate from this framework, and anyone who violates this principle will be excluded from the group.”
El Kabir emphasized, “The team must embody a winning mentality, as Club Africain has always been accustomed to competing in continental tournaments.”
Club Africain will travel to face Dreams FC in a crucial match scheduled for next Sunday, in a heated battle for the top spot in Group C.
Currently, Club Africain sits at the summit of the group with 9 points, level on points with Dreams FC but leading on goal difference, while Rivers United occupies third place with 6 points.
