Cape Verde has called up two new players, Adilson Cabral and Julio Tavares, for their national team’s friendly match against Ghana. Adilson Cabral, a former Switzerland U-17 and U-20 international, and Julio Tavares, who plays for Dijon and grew up in France, are set to make their debut for Cape Verde. Both players are expected to be part of Cape Verde’s squad for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN). The coach, Lucio Antunes, is also including Josimar Lima from the Dutch club Dordrecht FC in the group. Cape Verde is placed in a group with South Africa, Angola, and Morocco in the upcoming CAN 2013.
