According to the Spanish newspaper Sport, Alexandre Song played a match with Barcelona’s crampons that were a size and a half smaller than his actual size. The reason behind this is said to be that Song had given his shoes to Cameroonian supporters during the World Cup qualifiers, and he had not received new ones from his equipment supplier, Nike, in time for the match against Ajax in the Champions League.
