The main referees committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has finalized the selection of the officiating team for the upcoming match between Al Ahly and Medeama of Ghana in the ongoing 2023-2024 African Champions League.
The encounter between Al Ahly and Medeama is scheduled to take place at the Baba Yara Stadium, the home ground of the Ghanaian team, as part of the fifth round of Group D in the African Champions League.
Tanguy Mebiame from Gabon has been entrusted with the responsibility of refereeing the Al Ahly versus Medeama match.
He will be assisted by Elvis Jay from Cameroon as the first assistant referee, Orbin Ondo from Gabon as the second assistant referee, and Serge Mokagni, also from Gabon, as the fourth official.
The match between Al Ahly and Medeama in the African Champions League is set to kick off on Friday evening at 6:00 PM Cairo time, with Al Ahly traveling to face Medeama in Ghana.
Al Ahly currently competes in Group D alongside CR Belouizdad from Algeria and Young Africans from Tanzania.
