The board of directors of Zamalek Club, led by Hussein Labib, has decided to revoke the membership of Mortada Mansour due to his failure to meet the conditions for acquiring general membership, in compliance with Articles 8 and 12 of the club’s bylaws.
During its meeting held today, Sunday, the board also approved the contracts of the technical staff for the first team, following the appointment of Portuguese coach Jose Gomez to lead the team, succeeding Moatamed Gamal.
Additionally, the board decided to enter into a new sponsorship agreement with United Company as part of the club’s policy to increase the number of sponsors to align with the club’s moral and marketing values.
They also agreed to contract with Tunisian lawyer Sami Bousarsar, specializing in international legal disputes.
Furthermore, the board approved the loan of Hisham Salah, a player from the first handball team of Zamalek Club, to Al-Arabi Club in Qatar to participate in the Gulf Cup for Champions.
The council also discussed the presentation made by Hussein El-Sayed, a board member and supervisor of the youth sector, regarding the behavior of players from the 2009 football team after the match against Al-Ahly Club, held at the club’s stadium.
